Imagine if we all woke up one morning and said, “The world economy is great. Everyone is doing well. Jobs are up. And everything’s moving steady.” Do you think that if we all believed this, that things could be different? You bet it would.

My point in raising this is to emphasize the power of thought, and group consciousness.

When you hear the financial news (the up & down of the Dow, job cuts, foreclosures, etc.), it seems like there’s something happening “out there” that’s making this all happen. But in reality, the economy is much a reflection of our thoughts and attitudes.

Right now, most people are gripped with fear. Maybe you’re spending less than you normally have, or you’re giving less to charity, or you’re concerned about layoffs. When you’re in fear mode, you act based on fear.

Do you think there are some people in this world who aren’t in fear mode and are, in fact, making money during this time? You betcha!

History shows that tons of millionaires were made during the Great Depression.

It’s all a matter of how you look at the situation, what you believe, and how you apply your mindset and resourcefulness to the situation.
