Improve Your Financial Situation With a Thought

One of my teachers once told me that 85% of all thoughts you have today are the same thoughts you had yesterday. That’s because we have tendencies for how we live our lives, such as how we get dressed in the morning, where we shop for groceries, how we approach a problem, what we do for work, etc.
Our thoughts drive our actions. If you’re at a restaurant, you get to choose your experience by what you choose from the menu. It’s the same thing with money. You get to choose how money goes in and out of your life!
When the vast majority of your thoughts and how you approach life is practically the same as yesterday, then you tend to see the same results that you achieved yesterday. And last week. And last month. Makes sense, right?
That’s why, if you want to improve your financial situation, you have to change your thoughts! Otherwise, you’ll keep on seeing the same income and expenses going in and out of your life!
Here’s a few ideas for how to improve your financial situation by changing your thoughts:
- Read, listen or watch personal growth, self-improvement, prosperity and financial experts to expose you to different kinds of thinking.
- Surround yourself with people you’d like to learn from so you can start to develop a new language and mindset around money.
- Start a gratitude journal. Every day, write down 5 things you’re grateful for. The more you focus on what you appreciate in your life, the more your thoughts and experiences move into that kind of frequency and vibration.
- Take inspired action. If you get excited by a thought, act on it! Your excitement is your inner being telling you that you’re on the right track.
