During Thanksgiving, you have an opportunity to acknowledge what you are grateful for in your life.
Gratitude is a simple, yet powerful, spiritual practice.
What’s great is that you can do it at any place and any moment of the day, no matter where you may be.
Go ahead. Try it out.
Bring to mind one thing that you are grateful for.
Take your time. No matter how big or small, what is one thing you are grateful for?
As this comes to mind, breathe it in.
Now ask yourself this question: Why are you grateful for this?
When you move into the why, you begin to uncover the layers for what matters deeply to you.
As you touch on the feelings of what gives you meaning, allow for the feeling of gratitude to grow within you. Let the feeling of gratitude envelop your entire being.
Breathe. Let this feeling of thanksgiving expand within you and let it fill the surrounding space so that you emulate an energetic field of gratitude.
When you’re ready, come back and notice if you feel any different.
Are you lighter? Are you feeling more expansive?
How would your life be different if you spent your day walking and breathing gratitude?
One of the questions I am often asked is what spiritual practice someone can use to better embrace a prosperity and abundance consciousness.
My answer is gratitude. Here’s why:
- Gratitude evokes a feeling of expansiveness. Rather than looking to something outside of yourself or to some future event, gratitude brings you into the present moment to appreciate the blessings already in your life.
- When you acknowledge and focus on the good that is in your life, you up-level your vibration, which attracts more good into your life. Gratitude is attractive.
- Gratitude affirms and invites possibilities in your life. When you are grounded in gratitude, you open into a greater flow and experience of Life.
In this spirit of gratitude, let me say to you personally that I am grateful for you.
I am grateful for the presence of your Spirit and for the uniqueness that you bring to this world.
You are truly a blessing. Thank you for being you.
I’d love to hear what you are grateful for. Please share by leaving a comment below.
Namaste and Abundant Blessings.
