Most people experience life through a filter. You can think of it like wearing a pair of special glasses. Some people wear rose-colored glasses, meaning you look for the good in the world and approach life with a sense of optimism and possibility. On the other end of the spectrum, some people wear doom and gloom glasses, where you look at what can go wrong in every situation and expecting the worst. And then there are all the glasses in between…boredom glasses, grateful glasses, disappointment glasses, insecure glasses, passionate glasses, and the list goes on. Your glasses filter how you see the world, and how you see the world influences how you experience the world. Your glasses also attract the people and situations that line up with the filter that you’re using. This is another way of saying, what you focus on expands. Like attracts like. So, if you want to experience your life differently, perhaps more joyously or more expansively, in any area of your life, then tune into how you’d feel if the best possibility unfolded for you. Really feel it. Once you get clear on the feeling, then choose those glasses that allow you to see your life from that perspective. Feel, and then look. Feel love, and then look for love. Feel joy, and then look for joy. Feel freedom, and then look for freedom. What glasses do you want to put on today? Abundant Blessings and Namaste. |
