![]() This week I began my 8-location tour in Los Angeles (and one webinar!) to lead my Visioning Your Best 2018 workshops. (If you’re interested in learning more about it, click here.) One of the most powerful questions to ask yourself when you do the Visioning process is this: In order for this vision to unfold, what must I release, and what am I being called to let go? This might seem like a simple question, but if you really take time to think about this and then take action on this, the effect on your life is profound. Here’s an example of what this might look like in your life. Say you envision your life this year as eating healthier. One of your first steps would be to consider what eating healthier looks like. What kinds of food do you want to keep in your kitchen? What are some different ways to prepare the food that leans on the healthier side? Once you get a good grasp of what eating healthier looks like in your household, you eventually have to ask the powerful question: In order for this vision to unfold, what must I release, and what am I being called to let go? If your refrigerator is currently filled with foods that don’t fit your highest idea of eating healthier, you won’t have a lot of space to bring in the foods that you do want. What you do, then, is create space. You take out (and perhaps give away) those things that no longer serve your vision. You create room and spaciousness for those things in your life that do serve you. And this process of releasing and letting go isn’t limited to physical things, like food, or unwanted clothes, or a messy desk drawer. You can also release and let go old thoughts, beliefs, habits and patterns of behavior that aren’t in service to your highest vision. These are usually the un-noticed and invisible things holding you back. Some people call these your mental and emotional blocks. When you create space for prioritizing those things that serve your highest vision, you signal to the Universe that you are taking a stand for living your life with joy and purpose. Imagine waking up every morning and or going to bed at night with the feeling that you are living life on your terms, with joy and purpose. What an awesome life you’d be living! With this teaching in mind, let’s turn to your coaching assignment for the week:
In order for your highest vision to reveal itself in and as your life, you must say No to some things in order to allow space for your bigger Yes that wants to come through. Your highest vision is waiting to be expressed through you. Are you ready and willing to make space for this vision to come through? Abundant Blessings and Namaste. If you’d like support with getting clear on your highest vision for your life, please consider attending one of the upcoming Visioning Your Best 2018 workshops or webinar.
